Kelley Kronenberg, a premier national law firm, is currently seeking a distinguished Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney for our Busy Indiana-based Midwest Workers Compensation team. This opportunity is tailor-made for an ambitious attorney with experience in workers' compensation defense, demonstrating a proven track record in this specialized area of law.

The Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney will play a crucial role in managing, leading, and expanding our firm's workers' compensation defense practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse range of workers' compensation defense cases from inception through resolution.
• Develop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and team members, ensuring alignment with clients' goals and expectations.
• Foster and maintain client relationships by delivering personalized service tailored to their unique needs, ensuring meticulous communication and accessibility.
• Engage in rigorous pre-trial preparation, including discovery and motions practice, as well as trial, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
• Stay abreast of legislative changes, judicial rulings, and industry trends affecting workers' compensation to provide informed advice and strategic direction.
• Represent the firm and clients in hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings, demonstrating exceptional advocacy skills.
• Collaborate closely with our team of esteemed attorneys and support staff to maintain the high standards of legal representation for which Kelley Kronenberg is known.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in litigation, with a focus on Workers Compensation defense.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to the Indiana Bar.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues, conduct negotiations, and effectively manage a diverse caseload.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
