The Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney will play a crucial role in managing, leading, and expanding our firm's workers' compensation defense practice.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse range of workers' compensation defense cases from inception through resolution.
- Develop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and team members, ensuring alignment with clients' goals and expectations.
- Foster and maintain client relationships by delivering personalized service tailored to their unique needs, ensuring meticulous communication and accessibility.
- Engage in rigorous pre-trial preparation, including discovery and motions practice, as well as trial, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes, judicial rulings, and industry trends affecting workers' compensation to provide informed advice and strategic direction.
- Represent the firm and clients in hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings, demonstrating exceptional advocacy skills.
- Collaborate closely with our team of esteemed attorneys and support staff to maintain the high standards of legal representation for which Kelley Kronenberg is known.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in litigation, with a focus on Workers Compensation defense.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to the Indiana Bar.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues, conduct negotiations, and effectively manage a diverse caseload.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
