Associate Attorney

About the role

This is a strong opportunity for an early-career attorney to build a foundation in estate planning, working closely with experienced attorneys and clients from day one.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
• Absorb and assist senior attorneys with estate plan design and client meetings
• Support probate and trust administration matters as needed
• Conduct legal research on estate planning and related tax issues
• Support client communications under attorney supervision

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Illinois; additional bar admissions a plus
• 1–3 years of estate planning or related experience preferred; strong academic or clerkship background considered
• Strong drafting and attention-to-detail skills
• Comfortable in a client-facing role; genuine interest in estate planning and wealth transfer work
