Associate Attorney

About the role

Javitch Block LLC is seeking a full-time Texas Associate Attorney who will work remotely from their home office, ideally located in the Dallas or Houston area.

Responsibilities

• Manage case files to formulate next course of action
• Represent the firm and its clients at pre-trials, trials, mediations and other court appearances
• Travel may be required

Requirements

• One (1) to two (2) years of experience in the Creditors’ Rights or Collection fields preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Create persuasive communications materials
• Strong investigative skills to uncover facts, causes of action, and determine next steps
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work as part of a team
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.)
• TX license required
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
