Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote role outside of court appearances. You must live in Nevada and be admitted to practice law in Nevada. There are no billable hours and this is a strictly 40-hour-per-week role.

About the role

This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters. You will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contracts, setting claims, and advocating for clients in court.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy and diversified caseload of the firm's clients in Nevada
• Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing and drafting agreements, etc.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims
• Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law

Requirements

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in Nevada (multi-state admission would be a plus)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm

Schedule

Strictly 40 hours per week.
