About the role

The Raleigh, North Carolina office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their expanding Civil Litigation practice group(s).

This is an opportunity to join a growing team and office, learn from experienced litigators, participate in case strategy and development, and both interact with and develop firm clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in civil litigation matters
  • Contribute to case strategy and development
  • Interact with and develop firm clients
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of civil litigation experience
  • Prior experience in insurance defense is preferred
  • Active member in good standing of the North Carolina Bar

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the North Carolina Bar

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Benefits

Salary Range: $(130k-150k) depending on experience (plus benefits)
