Associate Attorney

Clausen Miller PC seeks an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of litigation experience in first-party property and liability coverage in both New York and New Jersey. The role involves working under a Senior Partner on assigned cases. Candidates must be licensed in New York or New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and responses
• Assist with the discovery process by administering depositions, issuing interrogatories, and reviewing documents
• Perform legal research
• Make court appearances

Requirements

• 1-5 years of litigation experience in first-party property and liability coverage
• Licensed to practice in New York or New Jersey
• Excellent academic background
• Strong reading, writing, communication, and attention to detail skills
