Description POSITION OVERVIEW SRS Real Estate Partners has an opportunity in its Fort Lauderdale office. The ideal candidate will have a real estate background. This position is designed to build the skills and knowledge to become a sales associate in the brokerage division and will have a compensation component to assist in the transition to a full commission position. This position will work in conjunction with senior brokers to plan, target, negotiate, and manage accounts; conduct market research and manage databases. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work with brokers in the office on retail listingsPerforming market research and analysisIdentifying potential clients, generating lists, and cold callingParticipate in creating presentationsAssisting with maintaining company databases and filesOrganize, maintain files and recordsPerforming special projects as neededAssist prospects in accessing vacant space Requirements Minimum 4-year degree1-2 years of real estate experienceDesire to learnStrong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe AcrobatEffective at multi-tasking and quickly prioritizing in a fast-paced and professional work environmentHigh integrity and a strong work ethicHold an active Florida real estate license LEARNING OBJECTIVE Understanding business trends, nationally and locallyUnderstanding growth sectors of the market, recognizing consumer/retailer needsApply Client parameters to find solutionsIntimate knowledge of CoStar, GIS, and Google Earth softwareLease analysis toolsWorking knowledge of retail properties/clienteleMarket analysis for clients based on target audience/consumersLearn how to Canvas!
