Essential Job Functions

• Research case law, regulations, and statutes to support case preparation and legal advice
• Draft, review, and edit legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, subpoenas, and briefs
• Gather information from clients, provide case updates, and address concerns
• Collapse and file all discovery documents involving attorneys and clients
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare cases for trial, including organizing evidence and exhibits
• Represent clients in court proceedings under the supervision of senior attorneys
• Aid in the development of legal strategies and solutions
• Participate in business development and community functions to maintain and build client relationships

Requirements

• Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Exemption Status: Exempt
• Education, Qualifications, and Certifications:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Licence to practice law in Florida
• Experience: 3-6 years of litigation experience
• FileVine experience preferred
