Title Associate Attorney Summary Seeking a junior associate attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to support defense litigation matters, with strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience in insurance defense, professional liability, product liability, or appellate work is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Assist with all phases of defense litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memorandum.Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive reports and legal analyses.Participate in court conferences, depositions, and hearings as appropriate.Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with client guidelines.Maintain accurate time records and billing entries. Qualifications 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.Admission to practice in Connecticut required; additional bar admissions in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania are a plus.Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a demonstrated work ethic.Ability to manage multiple matters and consistently meet deadlines.Federal court or appellate experience is a plus but not required.
