About the Opportunity
The Associate, Asset Management role supports the Loss Mitigation team by managing repossession processes. This position is responsible for coordinating and tracking approved repossessions to efficiently recover collateral and reduce financial losses. The role contributes to maintaining operational accuracy and supports the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Validate repossession requests for accuracy and eligibility
- Review assignment criteria according to repossession guidelines
- Assign repossession agents and oversee collateral recovery progress
- Maintain communication with repossession partners to ensure smooth operations
- Update system statuses related to repossessions
- Process collateral release requests for reinstated accounts
- Review repossession cases for compliance and completeness
- Follow all compliance guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Perform administrative tasks to support the department
- Participate in additional projects or responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in consumer finance or related field
- Demonstrated career stability
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality
Pay Range and Compensation Package
$20.70 per hour plus a bonus
