Associate Application Engineer – Electronic Board Systems

About the role

As an Associate Application Engineer, you will be involved in a structured Associate Training Program—a fast-track paid training program that challenges you to develop the expertise needed to tackle difficult technical problems. This 12-month program provides outstanding insight into our technical marketing, product support, and sales organizations. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to advance into roles such as Field Application Engineer, Corporate Applications Engineer, or Technical Marketing Engineer.

Associate positions require excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, self-motivation, and a results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Some travel may be required, and applicants must be willing and able to relocate anywhere within the USA upon completion of training. This role begins in September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of highly motivated individuals to work with customers crafting sophisticated hardware and software systems.
  • Develop expertise in technical marketing, product support, and sales through hands-on training.
  • Apply knowledge of PCB design processes and related tools to solve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the PCB design process from schematic capture to layout, including experience with tools such as Xpedition, PADS, Allegro, KiCad, OrCAD, Eagle, and/or Altium.
  • Knowledge and experience with signal integrity or power integrity analysis tools (e.g., HyperLynx SI/PI, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Sigrity, or SiSoft) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of SPICE or IBIS modeling languages is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Legally authorized for employment in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
