Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, or Finance stakeholders to support the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of solutions that solve business challenges.
• Apply developing technical skills to support applications, integrations, reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Assist in documenting procedures, processes, and system functionality while ensuring clear communication across stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues across functional and technical teams.
• Work independently while receiving guidance and mentorship from experienced analysts and technical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or a combination of education, training, and progressive experience that equates to a Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to analyze business processes.
• Foundational understanding of human resources, payroll, finance, or other administrative business processes, or a demonstrated ability to learn new functional areas quickly.
• Familiarity with relational databases and basic knowledge of SQL.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience developing scripts, code, or reports using languages such as Java, Groovy, Python, .NET, PL/SQL, SAS, or SQR.

Preferred qualifications

• Exposure to ERP, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, or other enterprise administrative systems.
• Exposure to higher education administrative practices, applications, and integrations.
• Exposure to APIs, integrations, or low-code/no-code platforms such as Boomi.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and integration practices.
• Exposure to web application frameworks such as Angular or React.
