Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant law firm experience focused on affordable housing transactions, including affordable housing finance, development and incentives
- Experience with all types of affordable housing transactions including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) closings (4% and 9% transactions), refinancing, acquisitions, dispositions and exits
- Work includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating debt and equity transaction documents and conducting necessary due diligence
Requirements
- A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school
- Demonstrated professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment
- The ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
- The ability to meet and beat tight deadlines
- A clear and concise communication style (oral and written) with clients and team members

Pay
- The salary offered in any location will be determined by a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, geographic region, and relevant skills
- For Chicago and Washington, D.C., the expected annual salary for this position is $245,000 - $385,000
