Associate Advisor

About the role
The Associate Advisor will work with team members across offices to service clients across the spectrum of discretionary investment management and wealth planning to help them meet their financial goals. The Associate Advisor will be responsible for providing financial analyses, aiding in the creation of financial presentations, and communicating with clients directly. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a team environment while also being a self-starter and has a passion for continued improvement and learning.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day delivery of Wealth Management services under the supervision of senior client team members
- Partner with the Firm’s internal Client Service Team to ensure requests are processed and handled accurately and timely
- Create customized client presentations which include portfolio performance and analysis, planning recommendations, and cash flow management
- Develop investment portfolio allocations, Investment Policy Statements, and trading decisions which reflect firm investment themes as well as individual client goals in collaboration with teammates
- Communicate with clients and outside advisors
- Maintain, create, and analyze performance reports
- Execute investment decisions
- Client wealth forecasting
- Onboarding of new clients

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in economics, business, or related areas
- One to three years of related experience and/or a combination of education, experience, and training
- Ability to work within a team environment, while also being a self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize, be exceptionally organized, and have extreme attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage work across a wide range of clients and advisors
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to learn new systems relating to performance reporting, data/transaction aggregation, data analytics, and client relationship management
- Experience communicating with and presenting to clients preferred
Pay
With respect to positions in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $90,000–$105,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, and education. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
