For more than 30 years, the firm has built a highly referral-driven practice centered on trust, long-term relationships, and personalized retirement guidance.The firm specializes in retirement income planning, fixed and fixed indexed annuities, Medicare planning, long-term care strategies, tax-aware retirement planning, and legacy planning. Unlike many advisory firms that rely heavily on purchased leads, seminars, or outbound prospecting, this practice has developed a multigenerational client base primarily through referrals and long-standing relationships.This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career within a growing independent financial planning practice while working directly alongside an experienced founder. The role is designed to evolve into a broader advisory and leadership opportunity, with the potential to become an important part of the firm’s long-term succession plan.The office is highly client-focused, relationship-driven, and community-oriented. The firm regularly hosts educational workshops, retirement events, and client appreciation gatherings through its in-house education center, creating an engaging environment for clients and team members. Position OverviewThe Associate Advisor will work directly with the founder to support day-to-day client planning, case preparation, application processing, retirement income planning, and ongoing relationship management. This individual will play a critical role in streamlining operations while allowing the founder to spend more time meeting with clients and growing the practice.This is not a purely back-office position. The ideal candidate will become increasingly client-facing, participate in client meetings and reviews, help manage investment and retirement planning relationships, and grow into a larger advisory role over time.The firm is seeking someone who is personable, driven, organized, and highly trustworthy. Cultural fit and genuine care for clients are considered just as important as technical experience. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare retirement income illustrations, annuity proposals, and planning presentations.Support holistic retirement planning conversations involving income, taxes, Roth conversions, healthcare, and legacy strategies.Assist with fixed and fixed indexed annuity case design and implementation.Participate in client meetings and annual reviews.Build strong relationships with multigenerational clients.Process applications and service paperwork accurately and efficiently.Coordinate transfers, rollovers, and in-service rollover paperwork.Maintain CRM workflows and documentation within Salesforce / Advisors Command.Assist with educational workshops, client appreciation events, and in-house educational programs. Ideal Candidate BackgroundSeries 65 licenseLife & Health insurance licenseExperience in financial services, insurance, wealth management, banking, or retirement planningStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to build trust with clients of all agesProfessional, personable, and relationship-oriented demeanorHigh attention to detail and consistent follow-throughExperience with retirement planning or annuity products is preferredCRM experience, preferably with Salesforce Technology & Planning ToolsSalesforce / Advisors Command CRMWealth.com estate planning toolsRoth conversion and tax-planning software Why This Opportunity Stands OutThis opportunity offers substantially more long-term growth potential than a traditional associate advisor position.
