Associate Actuarial Director - Individual Medicare Advantage

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Actuarial Director - Individual Medicare Advantage to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This remote leadership role will guide actuarial pricing and bid strategy for individual Medicare Advantage business across multiple regions. The position will play a key role in ensuring bids are accurate, compliant, and aligned with financial objectives while supporting leadership with forecasting and decision-making. In addition, this leader will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders and mentor a growing team of actuaries. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $156,600 – $215,400 annually Responsibilities Lead pricing strategy for 2-3 Medicare Advantage regions Review individual Medicare Advantage bids for accuracy and regulatory compliance Provide financial forecasting and guidance to leadership Participate in cross-functional workgroups Manage and mentor a team of 4-7 actuaries Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage bid filing Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), or Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) required Experience across multiple functions, including modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting and analysis, reserving, or trending Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan Paid time off and paid holidays Short-term and long-term disability coverage Life insurance and other well-being benefits Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
