Summary
Energy Transfer is looking for an Associate Accountant to join our Intrastate Revenue accounting team in Houston, TX. We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline our processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with measurement, scheduling, business development, contract administration and other related departments in completing the monthly close process.
- Perform operational accounting duties including pipeline volume allocations, invoicing and settlement of customer contracts.
- Assist with segment’s month end closing process including the entry and review of journal entries.
- Provide customer support and service.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests.
- Performs ad hoc reporting as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Experience: 0-2 years
- Required Skills: Proficiency in Excel required
- Technical Skills: Experience with Alteryx, Power BI is a plus
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP, QPTM, Horizon is preferred
