About the Role

Nurtury Early Education is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to help oversee operations at its three early learning centers. This role supports program quality, staff training, and compliance with state and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Observe classrooms and assess programs to support teacher growth and improve quality.
  • Work with leadership teams to implement best practices and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and lead professional development and training for educators and administrators.
  • Manage projects related to licensing, accreditation, and classroom assessment tools.
  • Provide operational support and cover for Program Directors when needed.

Requirements

  • EEC Director II Certification (required).
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
  • 5-7 years of leadership experience in early childhood education.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring educators.
  • Knowledge of EEC licensing regulations, NAEYC accreditation standards, and classroom observation tools (CLASS, ITERS, ECERS).
