Responsibilities

• Schedules appointments for a large territory/client base and meets with existing customers, seeking to expand the business' market share.
• Answers questions of a more complex nature and handles customer complaints.
• Arranges support from other departments as needed to assist in achieving objectives.
• Identifies gaps in support and collaborates with department management to resolve.
• Develops sales of new products and searches for new areas in which to sell existing products.
• Monitors sales and reports additional opportunities to management.
• Reviews past trends and sales to customers to gain future sales.
• Prepares reports detailing sales activities and identifying issues that need to be addressed.
• Resolves issues not requiring management intervention.
• Informs company of activities or competitive intelligence in the field to assist in business and product planning.
• Recommends tactics to enhance sales.
• Analyzes own sales performance against objectives and adjusts focus as indicated to achieve sales goals.
• Coaches and provides mentoring to less experienced sales staff.
• Studies and fulfills territory coverage plan which defines the type of support and frequency of customer contact required to meet territory goals.
• Adjusts plan to meet coverage gaps.

Pay

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges: $110,500.00 - $156,000.00 (taking into account work location, candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors).
