Assistive Technology Professional

JOB PURPOSE

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, functional limitations, and mobility goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care.
• Recommend appropriate CRT equipment and associated interventions.
• Manage/Facilitate procurement processes from equipment specification through delivery.
• Deliver and fit equipment, ensuring that functional goals are met.
• Provide thorough training and education to clients, families, and caregivers.
• Complete/maintain accurate and detailed documentation.
• Achieve and exceed annual sales goals.
• Review and report on sales calls, outcomes, and opportunities.
• Maintain certifications and licenses, and obtain required continuing education.
• Keep abreast of funding requirements and technological advances in the Rehab Technology industry.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Adhere to Numotion’s leadership principles, policies, and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification.
• Working knowledge of compliant billing processes for rehab/assistive technology equipment.
• Valid Drivers License.
• One (1) year experience working with complex rehabilitation technology.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities independently.
• Previous experience in selling DME equipment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of various clinical conditions impacting mobility.
• Thorough understanding of rehabilitation equipment.
• Ability to perform thorough and competent evaluations.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
