About the role

The Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) evaluates, recommends, and provides customized Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT) to meet the unique needs of clients. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care, manage procurement processes, and provide training and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and mobility goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans of care.
  • Recommend appropriate CRT equipment and associated interventions.
  • Manage/Facilitate procurement processes from equipment specification through delivery.
  • Deliver and fit equipment, ensuring functional goals are met.
  • Train and educate clients, families, and caregivers on the safe and effective use of recommended equipment.
  • Document client interactions accurately and promptly.
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales goals and objectives.
  • Maintain certifications and licenses, obtain continuing education, and remain eligible for vendor systems.
  • Stay updated on funding requirements, product knowledge, and technological advancements in the Rehab Technology industry.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  • Apply Numotion Leadership Principles in all job-related activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Valid Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification.
  • One (1) year experience working with complex rehabilitation technology.
  • Previous experience in selling DME equipment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various clinical conditions impacting mobility.
  • Working knowledge of compliant billing processes for rehab/assistive technology equipment.
  • Valid Drivers License.
