About the role
The Caritas-Krankenhaus St. Lukas in Kelheim is a hospital providing general and routine care with 200 beds. The main departments include General and Visceral Surgery, Trauma Surgery and Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine (Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Diabetes, Angiology and Pulmonology), Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, and specialized departments such as Urology, ENT, and Dermatology. The hospital also collaborates with various other medical disciplines both within the hospital and independently.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the care of trauma, orthopedic, and hand surgery patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in surgeries under the supervision of a senior physician
- Contribute to the emergency department, including initial care and diagnostics
- Collaborate with all relevant medical specialties
- Participate in on-call duty after structured orientation
Requirements
- Medical license (MD)
- Interest in all aspects of trauma, orthopedic, and hand surgery
- A passion for structured further education and teamwork
- Responsible attitude, strong communication skills, and respectful treatment of patients
- Necessary immunization against measles
Qualifications
- Training as a Nursing Assistant (m/f/d)
- Training as an Operating Room Technician (m/f/d)
- Training as a Nursing Assistant (m/f/d) in Hospital Care
- Training as an Anesthesia Technician (m/f/d)
- Training as a Storekeeper in Healthcare
- Training as a Medical Professional
