Job Responsibilities
- Contributes to the nursing process and implements a resident plan of care.
- Performs direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting with assessments and evaluations.
- Delegates suitable components of care to nursing assistants and provides guidance and supervision when necessary.
- Affords assistance in resident and family health teaching and rehabilitation.
- Consults and validates data with the RN, records and reports pertinent information, and provides explanations to families and other staff.
- Recognizes and reports safety hazards and may assume team leader duties under the direction of an RN.
- Identifies and evaluates the resident’s response to health problems and treatments.
- Communicates resident care needs and approach to other personnel involved in care.
- Assumes responsibility for own professional growth and development by planning and/or participating in conferences and classes, attending in-service programs, and monthly staff meetings.
- Interprets the philosophy and objectives of the facility and the nursing service to residents, families, and other employees when necessary.
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- Experience in nursing preferred, not required.

Pay
$26-$31 per hour, determined by the hiring manager.
