Assisted Living Activities Aide

About the role

The Life Enrichment Activities Assistant at Assisted Living is responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a variety of activities tailored to meet the interests and needs of residents.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure continuity and coordination of activities.
• Document activity schedules and outcomes in a timely manner.
• Adapt activities based on feedback from residents and staff.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a caregiving or related field preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new activities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
