Assisted Hygienist

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Dental Hygienist to perform preventative dental procedures, educate patients on oral hygiene, and support overall patient care.

Responsibilities

• Providing services such as prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing, and applying cavity preventative agents
• Reviewing and updating patient dental histories, recording treatments, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records
• Assisting the dentist as needed and administering local anesthetics where permitted

Requirements

• An accredited degree or certificate in dental hygiene and a valid state license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong time management and professional communication skills
• Ability to travel between multiple locations is preferred
