Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach
Central Michigan University is seeking two assistant women's lacrosse coaches to work closely with support staff for peak performance, development, and academic success of student-athletes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate lacrosse recruiting activities, including on and off-campus evaluation and recruitment of student-athletes.
- Organize unofficial and official visits of recruits while monitoring progress through the NCAA eligibility center.
- Assist with scouting and match preparation.
- Support clinic and camp functions.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including but not limited to:
- NCAA paperwork and compliance.
- Academic monitoring of student-athletes.
- Travel plans and itineraries.
- Equipment and budget management.
- Practice planning.
- Adhere to all department and university policies, as well as Mid-American Conference and NCAA rules, regulations, bylaws, and interpretations.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the head coach consistent with the mission of the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree by date of appointment.
- Playing or coaching experience.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Division I playing experience.
- At least one year of collegiate coaching experience at the Division I or II level.
- Experience in skill instruction.
- Experience in small group design and work.
- Experience in offensive strategy and offensive transition.
- Experience in draw technique.

Central Michigan University Athletics is an FBS member of the Mid-American Conference. The department supports 17 men's and women's Division I sports, with student-athletes achieving success in competition and maintaining an average cumulative GPA of 3.17.
