Assistant Wellness Director (LPN/LVN)

Compensation

Compensation: $90,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice, company, and facility philosophy of care and practices while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff.
• Makes sure policies and procedures are being done correctly and helps achieve goals.
• Does resident assessments, suggests what kind of care they need, and tells families about it, as directed.
• Ensures people get good care that shows they are healthy physically, mentally, and emotionally.
• Knows and uses important rules for keeping people healthy.
• Looks at reports from each unit every day to make sure there are quick answers to big changes in how people feel, moving them, leaving, or having problems with medicine.
• Listens to people and writes down big changes in how they feel; this includes things like accidents, mistakes with medicine, lost things, or unhappy feelings from residents or their families.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Two years of professional nursing experience in a senior living care setting.
• Two years of supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
