Assistant Wastewater Treatment Plan Superintendent

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as the next Assistant Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Superintendent and play a key role in keeping our community running strong!

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the facility to meet all regulatory requirements
• Inventory and maintain operating stocks of process chemicals and operating supplies
• Develop and maintain information for reports and records
• Work to ensure all safety training and programs are implemented
• Maintain effective communication among staff
• Evaluate the work of assigned personnel
• Provide staff training in areas of treatment operations, equipment maintenance and proper operation of plant equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance procedures
• Experience with wastewater treatment software and data analysis tools

Pay

This full-time position offers an annual salary of $96,215.28 - $117,581.04.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with flexible working hours including weekends and holidays.
