Assistant Warehouse Manager

About the role

This position oversees the day-to-day operations within an assigned function and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management. Main responsibilities include leadership of direct reports and attainment of daily operational goals within the assigned functional area. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 4:30 AM with flexibility to work additional hours or days if needed to support business needs.

• Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees
• Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling
• Health and Safety Management
• State/Local/Federal regulations compliance
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
• Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
• One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) required – advanced level
• Logistics industry knowledge – advanced required
• Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations – advanced required
• Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components – intermediate required
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production – advanced required

Pay

$70,000 to $75,000 per year, salaried exempt, paid twice monthly.
