Support a high-volume production team in filming, editing, and maintaining assets for outdoor-recreation video projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist production staff with camera, lighting, audio, and grip gear on shoots.
- Build and strike sets for studio and field productions.
- Maintain, track, and repair all production equipment; coordinate equipment ordering and inventory.
- Ingest, log, and archive media; prepare assets for editors.
- Edit basic to intermediate-level projects in Avid Media Composer.
- Operate additional cameras for live events and multi-camera shoots.
- Travel 25–30% to outdoor locations, often requiring long drives and overnight stays with irregular hours.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of field experience in film/video production.
- College or trade-school training in production or related field.
- Intermediate color-grading skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of fishing, hunting, and outdoor recreation.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to secure Missouri Class-E license.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs in extreme heat, cold, and rugged terrain.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork in fast-changing creative environments.
Skills
- Avid Media Composer (primary NLE).
- Familiarity with modern codecs, containers, and file formats.
- Basic set-construction and production-asset management.
