Responsibilities

  • Apply quantitative models and techniques in order to address and resolve concrete financial problems.
  • Work closely with lines of business to understand models/applications/processes requirements.
  • Develop and maintain models and processes specific to banking and Treasury: balance sheet management, liquidity, capital risk, etc.
  • Utilize advanced quantitative techniques, such as statistical analysis, predictive modeling, linear regressions, mathematical optimization.
  • Develop and maintain statistical frameworks and attribution techniques to explain changes in bank deposits EVE and Net Interest Income forecasts.
  • Maintain interest rate risk models and analytics for the management of marked-to-market portfolios.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Quantitative and Computational Finance, Mathematical Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.
  • Experience in each of the following:
    • Conducting model research and development with a focus on quantitative finance, financial engineering, and mathematical optimization;
    • Performing data analytics and developing reporting tools using R (Rmarkdown, dplyr, shiny, plotly) and python (pandas, numpy, etc.);
    • Designing and enhancing end-to-end software applications using python, R, and SQL;
    • Writing modular, production-quality, and unit-tested code, in a collaborative and controlled environment using Jira, Microsoft Azure, or GitHub;
    • Using Linux OS, including operating effectively on the command line interface (bash).
