Assistant Vice President - Broking

Overview

At Gallagher Re, we’re looking for an ambitious and analytical Reinsurance Broker to join our growing team in Greensboro. You’ll play a key role in expanding our roster of accounts, delivering best-in-class support, and driving new business production. This is a client-facing role where you’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to develop innovative solutions, retain existing clients, and contribute to product development.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Analyze insurance risks at a portfolio level, advising clients on reinsurance treaty structures to mitigate risks and improve capital efficiency.
• Prepare, market, and complete reinsurance placements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
• Cook up internal resources, such as analytics, contracts, and client services, to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
• Conduct research on industry topics, develop content for clients and prospects, and contribute to conferences and publications.
• Join at least one Product Vertical or Segment (e.g., Property, Casualty, Professional Liability, Surety) to help shape our global production strategy.

About You

Required: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
