Assistant Vice President

About the role

DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to perform technical analysis of the production platform to identify and resolve performance and resiliency issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience providing direct technical support for critical incidents

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive investigations and manage the end-to-end incident lifecycle in UNIX and Linux environments using Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Identify, log, resolve, and review incidents following ITIL frameworks, ServiceNow, Informatica, MicroStrategy, and Business Objects
• Develop and optimize processes using automation tools, including Control M, Autosys, JCS, and WCC
• Improve system reliability and availability using DevOps and Agile frameworks across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ensure audit compliance, participate in annual audits, and plan and execute business continuity management (BCM) and data center isolation activities
• Utilize Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase, DWeb, OpenShift Fabric, New Relic, Splunk, Geneos, and JIRA in the execution of duties

Pay

$152,000.00 – $165,000.00/year
