Assistant Vice President Application Development

For our client, a leader in the healthcare space, we are seeking an Assistant Vice President of Application Development to advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience.

You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Define corporate applications strategy and technology roadmap
• Evaluate emerging technologies for build-vs.-buy decisions
• Oversee design and implementation of enterprise applications
• Manage testing, deployment, and release processes for reliability
• Lead operations ensuring high availability and performance of applications
• Implement ITIL-based quality processes and manage incidents
• Negotiate software purchases and manage technology vendor relationships

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in technology strategy and application management
• Strong understanding of corporate applications like Workday and UKG Dimensions/Kronos
• Proven track record in application portfolio and vendor management
• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and talent development
• Knowledge of IT governance standards and strategic IT planning

Pay

$228,500 – $348,125 annually
