Assistant Varsity Track Coach

Job Description

The Assistant Varsity Track Coach will assist the head coach in developing and implementing training programs for the school's varsity track team. Duties include:

• Assisting in the organization and supervision of practices and meets
• Providing technical coaching and guidance to athletes
• Encouraging and supporting student-athletes' academic success
• Maintaining communication with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field
• Be certified by the state as a track and field coach
• Have at least two years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Be able to commit to working evenings and weekends during the track season
