About the role
The position involves coaching boys basketball at the varsity and JV levels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement coaching strategies for both varsity and JV teams
- Manage team practices and games
- Work closely with the head coach and other staff members
- Attend all home and away games
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
- Strong knowledge of basketball rules and regulations
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Pass a background check
Skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to motivate players
- Knowledge of player development techniques
