About the role
The Assistant Athletic Coach will support the athletic programs within Linden Public Schools.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of athletic training programs
- Support team practices and games
- Work closely with coaches to ensure compliance with school policies and regulations
- Provide support to student athletes as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at the high school level
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Passion for athletics and student development
Skills
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Experience with sports medicine and injury prevention
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
