Assistant Used Car Sales Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Used Car Sales Manager to join the busy Sales department at our Lloyd Jaguar Land Rover site based in Carlisle.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit in all areas of responsibility.
• Translate business strategy into operational plans for used car sales.
• Develop and agree sales plans and budgets, including new cars, accessories, overheads, and all related items, to achieve marketing, sales, and financial targets.
• Deliver results to meet and, where possible, exceed agreed budgets.
• Implement effective policies and procedures to maximise sales opportunities.
• Inspire, provide leadership, and effectively manage staff to maximise productivity and meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service within all areas of responsibility.
• Work effectively with all other key personnel within the retailer to establish and implement best practice and ensure customers receive exceptional service.
• Ensure full compliance with FCA guidelines on the selling of financial services products by all relevant staff.

Requirements

• Experience within the motor industry at Sales Management level.
• Commercial awareness and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lead and manage the sales team.
• IT literate with a full UK driving license.

Pay

£30,000 with OTE of £70,000

Schedule

45 hours per week, working alternate weekends with a fixed day off through the week.
