Responsibilities

• Review and process all policy changes as requested by agents and insureds.
• Aid Underwriters with renewal processing and follow up requests to the agents.
• Aid Underwriters with inspection review including follow-up with agents on hazards identified in the inspection.
• Maintain policies for recommendation compliance.
• Communicate with agents and insureds to assist with basic policy questions.
• Liaison between various departments.
• Participate in various projects as they arise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years as an assistant underwriter (preferred).
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Self-starter with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively.
• Able to adapt and respond in a rapidly evolving business environment.

Skills
