About the role

The Assistant Treasurer is a senior leadership role with broad strategic and operational responsibility for the Company’s global treasury function.

Responsibilities

  • Helps shape capital structure and capital allocation strategy.

  • Optimizes global liquidity.

  • Manages financial risk.

  • Ensures a resilient, scalable treasury operating model across a global footprint.

  • Combines deep capital markets expertise with disciplined risk management and strong people leadership.

  • Oversees financing strategies, banking and rating agency relationships, cash management, investments, insurance programs, and compliance.

  • Drives governance, standardization, and execution.

  • Leads and develops global or multi-regional finance teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA or master’s in finance strongly preferred.
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or similar certifications are highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or capital markets within global organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting capital structure management, liquidity planning, and large-scale financing initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing bank relationships, engaging credit rating agencies, and participating in credit reviews.
  • Hands-on experience with financial risk management, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and/or commodity hedging.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Experience developing and operating treasury policies, internal controls, and disaster recovery/business continuity frameworks.
  • Experience in industries with complex capital structures (e.g., manufacturing, consumer products, technology, energy) preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA or master’s in finance is preferred.
