About the role
The Assistant Treasurer is a senior leadership role with broad strategic and operational responsibility for the Company’s global treasury function.
Responsibilities
Helps shape capital structure and capital allocation strategy.
Optimizes global liquidity.
Manages financial risk.
Ensures a resilient, scalable treasury operating model across a global footprint.
Combines deep capital markets expertise with disciplined risk management and strong people leadership.
Oversees financing strategies, banking and rating agency relationships, cash management, investments, insurance programs, and compliance.
Drives governance, standardization, and execution.
Leads and develops global or multi-regional finance teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA or master’s in finance strongly preferred.
- CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or similar certifications are highly desirable.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or capital markets within global organizations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting capital structure management, liquidity planning, and large-scale financing initiatives.
- Proven experience managing bank relationships, engaging credit rating agencies, and participating in credit reviews.
- Hands-on experience with financial risk management, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and/or commodity hedging.
- Strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.
- Experience developing and operating treasury policies, internal controls, and disaster recovery/business continuity frameworks.
- Experience in industries with complex capital structures (e.g., manufacturing, consumer products, technology, energy) preferred.
Qualifications
