About the role
This position is an entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced press room environment. The Assistant Trainee - Press - Night will assist experienced press operators in setting up and operating printing presses, ensuring quality control, and maintaining equipment.Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and operating printing presses under supervision.
- Perform quality control checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain and operate printing equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of printing processes and equipment.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
