Assistant Track & Field Coach – Sprints/Hurdles/Relays

About the role

Tiffin University, a proud member of NCAA Division II, invites applications for the position of Assistant Track & Field Coach specializing in Sprints/Hurdles/Relays. The successful candidate will support the Director of Cross Country and Track & Field in all aspects of the Track & Field program.

Responsibilities

• Directing a competitive NCAA Division II program in accordance with the University, Conference, and NCAA rules and procedures
• Recruitment and development of student-athletes
• Commitment to student-athletes' personal and academic welfare
• Commitment to gender and ethnic diversity
• Coaching and recruiting of Sprints/Hurdles/Relays athletes
• Compliance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations, and department plans
• Maintaining effective working relationships with department support staff and other university personnel
• Demonstrating effectiveness in maintaining budget and organizational skills
• Demonstrating effectiveness in monitoring student-athletes' academic programs, retention, and graduation
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 4 Year Degree
