ASSISTANT TOXICOLOGIST I POST-MORTEM

About the role

This full-time position assists the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in determining cause and manner of death by conducting tests for toxic substances in biological specimens submitted by medical examiners.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology, or another appropriate science from an accredited college or university.
• OR a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology, or another appropriate science from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience in forensic toxicology.

For education obtained outside the U.S., any job offer will be contingent on providing an evaluation for equivalency by a foreign credential evaluation service prior to starting employment (and may be requested prior to interview).
