Assistant to the Associate Head of School

Job Summary

Heritage Classical Academy is seeking a qualified Assistant to the Associate Head of School. The ideal applicant understands and is excited about the great tradition of classical Christian education, and must exhibit a high professional standard, including organization, communication and efficiency. This is a full-time, multi-campus, year-round position.

Biblical Expectations

All employees of Heritage Classical Academy possess a Christian testimony demonstrating a personal, active, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. They also fully support HCA’s Statement of Faith and support the mission to Cultivate Lifelong Learners Who Think and Live for Christ. They will also be involved in a local church that aligns with the mission and vision of HCA.

Job Requirements

• Full support of Heritage’s Statement of Faith, Mission, and Vision statements
• Passion and commitment for the classical Christian model of education
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, punctual/strong time management skills, organized and ability to multitask
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Cultivate oneself with Christ-like professional behavior
• Aid in coordinating academic and staff events
• Facilitate employee candidate management and scheduling
• Manage multiple calendars and schedules
• Prepare communications as directed, including weekly staff and family communications
• Aid in managing student records
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Associate Head of School
