Assistant Team Leader -Limelite/Ruckus Assembly 1st Shift

Job Duties

• Assist Team Leaders to help ensure production technicians have product needed to maintain production at all times.
• Avoid downtime tracking and quality information documentation.
• Serve as a backup to the Assembly Team Leaders.
• Support the team leader with conveying of goals, huddle information and helping with decisions related to job rotation.
• Make suggestions for cell staffing needs.
• Support the training of technicians.
• Aid the team leader to ensure all cell technicians are supplied with what is needed to continue producing (painted parts, warehouse components, purchased parts…).
• Maintain schedules, document downtime and quality issues, and maintain production display boards.
• Assist with production as needed.
• Operate all equipment in the cell effectively and safely.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen events, layout planning, Value Stream Mapping as events happen).

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred Value Added Skills: Leadership, Positive attitude, Dependability, Communication skills, Good housekeeping habits, Willingness to learn, Basic computer skills, Team player, Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, twist, bend, up to 50 lbs., Smoke free environment, Ability to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow.

Pay

$1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Schedule

This is a 1st Shift position. Hours are 6am-2pm Monday – Friday. Overtime during busy season.
