Assistant Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Supervise inspection teams and report progress to project managers.
• Organize scheduling of inspections, mobilization, and equipment logistics.
• Perform and lead inspections of bridges and related structures.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while working at heights using various equipment.
• Conduct structural evaluations and sign off on inspection reports.
• Prepare detailed reports, calculations, and documentation using AutoCAD/MicroStation and Microsoft Office.
• Aid in planning, access coordination, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with government agencies and complete required training.

Essential Skills

• 2-5 years of bridge inspection experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in bridge inspection and civil engineering principles.
• NICET certification.
• Experience in load calculations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation.
• Ability to travel to project sites across NJ.

Work Environment

• The role involves being on project sites for an average of 6-8 weeks at a time.
• When not on-site, candidates can work from headquarters in Secaucus or Freehold, or opt to work from home.
• The role offers the benefit of taking the company vehicle home.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Secaucus, NJ.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $100,000.00/yr. Medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) benefits are provided.
