Assistant Teacher, Health Moms (Part-Time, Days)

Responsibilities

• Guidance & Relationship Building. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all of the children and their families; effectively guide the children’s behavior in an age appropriate manner; meet the physical, social, cognitive, emotional and cultural needs of individual children.
• Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children while fostering an environment that supports their growth.
• Safety & Oversight. Ensure the safety of the children and promote healthy habits; work with colleagues and community representatives to support children and families.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent OR One (1) year of experience working with children less than 13 years

Qualifications

• Required Licensure/Certification: None
• Preferred Attributes: One (1) year of work experience with small children, Excellent leadership and communication skills, Demonstrated patience and compassion
