Assistant Teacher Float

Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking a dedicated team member to support our Havertown Center as an Assistant Teacher Float. This role provides support throughout our center, working with older toddlers, preschool, and kindergarten-aged children while helping to ensure consistent care and coverage.

Responsibilities

• Step into different classrooms as needed to help with coverage and maintain ratio
• Support daily routines and classroom activities
• Provide active supervision at all times to keep children safe
• Build and maintain relationships with children, families, co-workers, and administrators
• Follow and adhere to the responsibilities outlined by the lead teacher for the classroom
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized environments

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of experience working with children, infants, and toddlers preferred
• Strong teamwork and flexibility
• Ability to keep information private
• Basic knowledge of childcare rules
• Must obtain all required clearances and complete a Health Assessment with TB screening prior to employment

Pay

$15.00 per hour
