Short Description
Responsible for the daily supervision of the classroom under the direction of the lead teacher.
Assists in preparing the learning environment, setting up interest centers, and preparing needed materials and supplies.
Demonstrates knowledge of licensing requirements, NAEYC Accreditation criteria and developmentally appropriate practice in daily interactions in the classroom.
Experience Required
- Experience in a licensed childcare center preferred.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree in early childhood education or CDA preferred.
Pay
The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position. A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
