Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement programs for children and adults in various settings including group exercise classes, swim lessons, and personal training sessions.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all YMCA policies and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
• Adapt to new technologies and methods to enhance program delivery.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Valid first aid and CPR certifications.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic computer literacy.

Pay

$15 - $20 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
